Taiwan is a perfect place for bicycle riding. A fascinating cycling tour has been designed for Rotarians who enjoy this sports activity during the 2021 Rotary International Convention in Taipei. The ride will start in the town of Hengchun, near the southern end of Taiwan, and end by arriving at the Convention site: Nangang Exhibition Center. The tour spans 6 days and 5 nights, rides along the scenic east coast, and visits the most beautiful sites of Taiwan, all the way promoting our mission -End Polio Now.
This is a challenging course; participants should expect to ride more than 100 km (60 mi) each day through some rolling and hilly routes. To help each rider complete the tour successfully, we will arrange to have the best hotel accommodations and provide full-ride support with professional mechanics and soigneurs. Additionally, e-bikes (pedal-assist bikes) are also available via rental should you prefer. We hope to create for you a comfortable, safe and memorable journey.
Due to hotel capacity limitations, the cycling tour can only accommodate up to 80 participants on a first come, first served basis. We look forward to seeing you on the tour!
